V-Day South Beach

As part of the 2007 V-Day Community Campaign, South Beach is proud to present a benefit production of The Vagina Monologues to raise awareness and funds for local organizations working to end violence against women and girls.

Driving Directions From Eastbound on 395 to Colony Theater: • At the end of 395 (A1A Causewy)becomes 5th Street. • Continue East on 5th Street 1 blocks to Alton Road • Turn Left (North) on Alton Road • Turn Right on 16th St. Turn Left of Jefferson St. • Colony Theater is located on the corner of Lincoln Road and Lenox Ave. Parking lots are available around the area. Plan for parking, so arrive early if possible. You don't want to miss any part of the show!

A group of University Of Miami students led by Producer L Powers, a UM alum, will celebrate V-Day, South Beach, part of the WorldWide Campaign, on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 3:30-pm with the community to end violence (particularly) date rape, against girls and women by performing the popular, funny and sometimes serious The Vagina Monologues. Ticket sales (100%) go to prevent date rape. The show is long and worth your investment. Gift bags, a non-graphic Vagina Cake, Champagne, a Key Speaker, a Vagina Warrior, an Award Ceremony and more. So come wearing your best tiaras and boas!!!
