As part of the 2008 V-Day College Campaign, the students of University of Toronto, St. George are proud to present a benefit production of The Vagina Monologues to raise awareness and funds for local organizations working to end violence against women and girls.

Victoria University in the University of Toronto, St. George, will be putting on a benefit production of "The Vagina Monologues" as part of the V-Day Campaign, with proceeds going to The Redwood - A safe haven for women and children fleeing abuse. There will also be a silent auction, bake sale, and various displays in the lobby of the theatre at the show, so be sure to arrive early and bring some spare cash to get some cool souvenirs!

V-Day Victoria University in the University of Toronto will be holding a movie-night and Clothesline Project Activity on Friday, January 18, 2008 from 6-9pm at The Cat's Eye (150 Charles St W) in the Wymilwood Building. Bring an old t-shirt and decorate it for The Clothesline Project to express your thoughts and feelings about the issue of violence against women. The t-shirts will be displayed as part of the Clothesline Project in the lobby of the Bader Theatre on the nights of the performances. Then stay to watch "Calendar Girls," a quirky film about the true story of a group of dynamic women who bare all--or nearly all--for charity and become international celebrities as a result.
